Desert Trails Park is 35 sections of land and incorporates a progression of climbing and biking trails, a siphon track, a children's aptitudes track, two ramadas, a bathroom, and a 30-spot parking parcel. The trails comprise of a ¾-mile border trail for climbing and non-mechanized bicycle use. These trails go up to the highest point of the slope for climbers and non-mechanized bikers. There are three dynamic stream trails for downhill bicycle use. The stream trails are:
• Beginner Level (Green) - Runaway Train Trail
• Intermediate Level (Blue) - Squirrel Catcher Trail
• Expert Level (Black) - Double Trouble Trail
The abilities track, siphon track, and three stream trails are intended to present and continuously grow new aptitudes for BMX-style bicycle riding. The siphon track was worked by volunteers from the Gravity Riders Organization of Arizona (GROAZ).
